Abstract:
The short review of basic and applied research as well as data on production of isotopes with use the 10mW ware-water research reactor are presented. The reactor is operating more than 5000 hours a year.
The results on radiation hardness and changing properties of different mateials including semoconductors, optical and reactor ones are presented as well as data on the study of properties of fission products. Special attention is given to production of isotopes for needs of medicine, biology and other sciences. The actions taken on highly enriched spent fuel and conversion to low enriched fuel are discussed.
